Every day in Australia, perfectly good food goes to waste while millions go hungry. OzHarvest exists to change that.

We rescue surplus food and deliver it to charities feeding people in need. Right now, demand has never been higher. More Australians than ever are struggling, and our partner charities are overwhelmed. One in three people seeking help never thought they'd need it—parents skipping meals, pensioners choosing between medicine and groceries.

Food rescue starts every morning from our Hindmarsh depot, with our yellow vans going as far south as Victor Harbor via our satellite volunteer team, east to Murray Bridge and Mannum, north to Gawler and along the west shoreline supporting 135 charities with 70 more waiting for food.

But we do more than rescue meals. Through our education programs NEST, FEAST and Nourish, we teach communities to cook on a budget, empower students as food waste fighters, and give at-risk youth hospitality skills for brighter futures.
