Every day in Australia, perfectly good food goes to waste while millions go hungry. OzHarvest exists to change that.

We rescue surplus food and deliver it to charities feeding people in need. Right now, demand has never been higher. More Australians than ever are struggling, and our partner charities are overwhelmed. One in three people seeking help never thought they'd need it—parents skipping meals, pensioners choosing between medicine and groceries.

Our yellow vans reach communities across Perth from Yanchep to Armadale and beyond, supporting 290 charities with 100 more waiting for food. Our Mandurah hub enables us to support charities in the Peel and South West region, which is an area of high need.

Unique to Perth is the ‘Nourishing our Schools’ program which is now reaching over 140 schools. This is more than a school breakfast program, it provides a food relief hamper to struggling families with pantry items and fresh rescued produce, designed to feed a family for a week. Through our education program FEAST we empower students as food waste fighters across the state.
