Peter Stewart Swimming the Catalina Channel

By OzHarvest Melbourne

Catalina Channel Swim

After 12 months of rehab following shoulder reconstruction, I’m thrilled to be back in the water and training for my next big challenge: a 38km swim across the Catalina Channel from Santa Catalina Island to the California coast on 20–21 September 2026.

This will be the final leg of my Triple Crown of open-water swimming (after English Channel & NYC 20 Bridges). If successful, I will also set a new age-group Guinness World Record. I’m dedicating this journey to raising vital funds for OzHarvest, helping them rescue food and fight hunger in our communities.

With the incredible backing of Aon, friends, and colleagues, I’d love your support to turn every stroke into real, tangible impact—please consider donating and being part of this swim for good.
