LARAPINTA OZHARVEST SUPPORTERS

We made it back from our incredible 70km trek through the Larapinta Trail with the most amazing bunch of OzHarvest supporters. We are so grateful for all of your donations that will help provide almost 25000 meals for those who are in need. Collectively the team have raised $36,675 so far!!!

WOW, what an amazing experience.

We are back from our 5 day adventure walking 70km's of the 223km Larapinta Trail walking trail that runs along the West MacDonnell Ranges in Central Australia.

We shared this experience with 9 other amazing OzHarvest supporters and founder of OzHarvest Ronni Kahn. We were guided by three of the most awesome guides who have also become wonderful friends and supporters of OzHarvest.

An experience we are so grateful to have been a part of.

Each school holidays our children participate in the Kids in the Kitchen – Cooking for a Cause - at OzHarvest in Alexandria

It is a great way for the kids to get involved while helping provide meals for those in need.

The kids always have a great time in the kitchens cooking up a storm!

Wearing in the walking boots this long weekend - 8.16km done!

Trying to find the time to fit in the training for the Larapinta Trek is challenging.

We managed to make time this long weekend in the beautiful Blue Mountins to make sure our boots are going to hold up, 8.16km and no blisters.

We are blown away by the generosity of all our friends, family and patients at Castle Cove Family Dental for their support, we are now over $6000!

We are very grateful for all your support and cannot wait for our trek

Training has commenced for our upcoming trek

We have broken in the boots and started the training regime for our upcoming Larapinta trek. 

We are so grateful to everyone who has contributed to our quest to raise a minimum of $6000 for OzHarvest.

We are also taking orders for cupcakes, muffins, a night off cooking (let us prepare your meal) all for a donation.

Cooking for a Cause

Our kids are involved in OzHarvest's Cooking for a Cause program every school holidays. 

This is where our children make meals from donated produce from scratch and these are then distributed to thos in need. 

It is a great day that keeps the kids grounded, reminds them of how fortunate they are and how they really can make a positive difference to our community.

Your loose change can make a big difference

Scrape together all the coins lying around the place and help us make a difference to those less vulnerable. $1 = 2 meals - so every little bit helps. Help us help others in need.

Trekking to raise money for OzHarvest

We have committed to participating in OzHarvest's 70km trek to Larapinta, NT in August, to make a difference to Australia’s most vulnerable and help reduce food waste. 

We know if each and everyone of you can show your support by donating a minimum of $10 each, we can reach our target of $6000 by July.

We promise to bake for you, share recipes and offer great raffle prizes to help you help us reach our goal.

We are selling yellow slime to help us raise funds, $10 small or $15 large - donate here and collect your slime from CCFD or collect from Mary or I. 

We will have a number of fundraising activities planned between now and August, we promise to keep you updated at every step.
