Camino complete

On March 3rd, we left Saint Jean Pied de Port (Southern France) for our hike of the Camino de Santiago.

780km and 32 days later we reached our destination, Santiago de Compostela (Northwestern Spain) on Apr 3rd.

To be honest, I had my doubts that we would be able to make it the whole way. There were many trying moments - physically, mentally and emotionally - but day after day, little by little, we chipped away until we reached our destination.

Despite the challenges it was an amazing experience and I would highly recommend it for people should they ever get the chance.

We're still short of our $1000 goal for OzHarvest, so please donate if you can!

Thanks for your support.

Camino update

Hi everyone!

On March 3rd, we started our 780km hike of the Camino from St Jean Pied de Port in Southern France.

I'm writing this on March 29th while having lunch in a small village in Northern Spain called Viduedo.

Today we're walking over 40km to reach Sarria which will put us a little over 100km from our destination Santiago de Compostela.

We're planning to finish the hike by April 3rd so that we can experience the Easter festivities in Santiago.

There have been many challenges and difficult moments along the way, but it's been an extremely rewarding and enriching experience.

Thanks for your support!

Ultreya et suseia!

I’m walking the Camino de Santiago to raise funds for OzHarvest — a cause that truly resonates with me.

Over 6+ years working in food manufacturing across Quality Control and Quality Assurance roles, I’ve seen first-hand the effort and resources required to produce safe food. From production and packing to logistics and distribution, it takes a huge system to ensure food reaches people safely. That’s why OzHarvest’s work is so powerful — rescuing surplus food and delivering it to people who need it most instead of letting it go to waste.

Their mission to nourish communities while reducing food waste strongly aligns with my professional and personal values.

Every single $1 raised will enable OzHarvest to deliver 2 meals to vulnerable Australians.

If you’re able to support, no matter how small, you’ll be helping turn each step of my journey into real meals for people in need. Thank you so much.
