On Friday October 16th, OzHarvest and Finding Yellow Co. are inviting Gold Coast businesses, schools and community groups to GO YELLOW for World Food Day. We want the whole of Gold Coast to GO YELLOW on World Food Day, and help OzHarvest feed those in need. Encourage your colleagues to wear a splash (or a lot) of yellow on October 16th 2020 and make a donation.
Every $1 raised means OzHarvest can create 2 meals to feed our most vulnerable.
How do I get my business involved?
If you would like to really paint the town yellow by lighting up your building, your signage, painting an office wall or even creating a cocktail then we would love to hear from you!

About OzHarvest Gold Coast
For 6 years OzHarvest Gold Coast has been delivering food with love and dignity to people in need such as those suffering from homelessness and social isolation, children who show up to school with empty tummies and empty lunchboxes, and people living with physical and mental disabilities. We rescue fresh, nutritious food rescued from over 75 food donors including supermarkets, cafes, delis, restaurants, hotels, airports, corporate kitchens and manufacturers across the greater Gold Coast and Tweed region. This food is then delivered to 60 plus Gold Coast and Tweed charities, free of charge, in our fleet of refrigerated yellow vans. Five million people in Australia experience food insecurity every year and the economic effects of COVID-19 mean this number is rising every day. We have been deemed as an essential service by government in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, adapting our logistics health and safety practices so we can continue to deliver nourishment to the community.
